Practical information

Registration is free but compulsory.

Accommodation and attendance will be supported by the EMBRACE Network of Excellence.

The workshop will take place at the Mercure Hotel Lyon-Charpennes on Sunday, May 18th, and in Lyon University domain "La Doua" the next two days.
The Hotel is located at the metro/tramway/bus station Charpennes.To reach the hotel from the Part-Dieu train station, take Metro B to Charpennes or Tram T1 (to IUT-Feyssine) and stop at Charpennes.

From the hotel to the workshop location (monday and tuesday) Take the tramway T1 at Charpennes, direction IUT Feyssine and stop at "la doua-gaston berger". Then have a look at the map given here and follow the signs that will be in the building

A dinner is organised on Monday evening at a restaurant called 'Le Canut sans Cervelle' at 8pm. Directions will be given when you arrive.

Computers will be available for practicals. However, if you prefer to use your own laptop with wifi guest login access, you will need to install the following in advance before the workshop (required for practicals):

Lyon university

• By plane : Arrival at Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport. Buses (Satobus) from the airport to the Part-Dieu railway station (every 20min)
• By train : tramway (T1) at railway station Lyon Part-DIeu or Lyon Perrache, direction IUT-Feyssine, station «La Doua Gaston Berger» (TCL)
• By car
  • Via "Rocade Est" ring road, exit 1B then "Croix Luizet", follow "la Doua", then "Domaine Scientifique de la Doua"
  • Via the Boulevard Laurent BONNEVAY: exit 6 "Porte de Croix Luizet", then follow direction "Campus de la Doua"

The room is located in the "Bâtiment Mendel", second floor. There will be signs to guide you.
